About the Bellegrass Community
Located on 1,2000 acres of woodlands in Hattiesburg, MS, the Bellegrass development offers an oasis for young families, retirees and everyone in-between. Bellegrass aims to nurture a community where its residents are reminded of a simpler time and are proud to call it home. Community is celebrated through annual and seasonal events, such as fun runs and 5Ks, fireworks, Halloween decorating and Christmas celebrations.
To support these activities, some featured amenities include extensive sidewalks, a neighborhood pool, party pavilions, large grassy areas and more.
Surrounding Area
The Bellegrass subdivison is located in Lamar County and Lamar County School District. Oak Grove Upper and Oak Grove Lower elementary schools are within walking distance. The City of Hattiesburg earned recognition as a “Most Livable” city in America by the 2015 City Livability Awards Program.
